WELCOME - It’s time to enter
For the 29th Knowle Fun Run and 11th Mini Runs we shall be changing as little as possible – why change a winning formula?
- Places are strictly limited and the 7 May entry deadline will be adhered to – please enter without delay
- The individual categories over 5 miles remain unchanged: Junior, Secondary, Adult, Veteran, Super Veteran
- There will be 3 team trophies – Junior, Secondary & all categories
- The one lap (2.5 miles) alternative is for JUNIOR runners only. They must decide whether they will run 1 or 2 laps before entering
- 2 Mini Runs for Years 1&2 and Years 3&4
NEW for 2012 – Fancy dress competition with 2 prizes. One for Mini runners and a trophy sponsored by Look Local for 5 mile Fun Runners. So go for it Fancy Dress runners and you may be chosen as a winner by our V.I.P.
This year’s nominated charities are:
- Alzheimer’s Society
- Crossroads Care
- Dorridge & Knowle Scout groups – to help refurbish their huts
- and we shall retain upto 30% for other local and Lions causes

Why not get a team together? Help us promote this year’s Fun Run by printing off our poster and displaying one at your work or wherever you can.
We thank all the companies who have already signed up to sponsor this year’s Fun Run and to advertise in the programme. Once again we are pleased to say all the costs of organising the event have been covered by corporate sponsors & programme advertisers, which means all runners entry fees, donations and sponsorship will go to the Fun Run charities. We do have a number of opportunities still available where companies can offer to support our fantastic community fundraising event, if you can help please get in touch now.
Good luck to all the runners – remember it’s not the winning but the taking part in Knowle’s biggest community event that counts.
